EC to Thailand 2009?

In the past few years, the Year 12 and 13 Geographers and Biologists have traditionally gone to Cyprus each February. With the changing syllabus next year, we are also planning to introduce a different location which will provide much more opportunities for development.
In 2009 we plan to take a group of Year 12 Geographers and Biologists who will be the first batch taking the new Edexcel A level Syllabus. They will be joined by the Year 13 Biologists and also those doing their Gold Award for the Duke of Edinburgh Internationals Award.
The aim of this trip is that it should encompass many areas that were traditionally covered by a variety of trips. The Field Studies Centre in Northern Thailand has been assessed by Mr Tainsh (tough job) and he was very impressed by what they can offer.
The trip will be run in conjunction with North Star - a company which has built up a very good reputation running educational trips, and which is based in Dubai.

EC to Australia

We are currently getting ready for another English College Trip!!

This time it involves the Netball and Rugby teams plus assorted staff, going to Australia for two weeks. A great deal of work has gone into setting up the trip, and the students have been training hard.

If Mr Kendry can manage it he will be writing a blog about this trip to keep parents and friends updated.
